Breakfast and After School Care

Early Morning Drop-off

Children can be dropped off to school at 8:00am from Monday to Friday throughout the school year.  They are allowed to bring in a packed breakfast to eat during this time.  We charge £4 per child per session. 

 

We offer highly flexible booking arrangements to fit in with our families' commitments and busy lifestyles.  The block session option is booked in advance by week, month or term.  The one-off session option is booked on an ad-hoc basis by contacting the office during school opening hours and we will do our best to fit your child in.

After School Club

This club is open after school from Monday to Thursday throughout the school year, except on days where there is a school function being held.

 

Children are allowed to bring in a healthy snack to eat at the start of the session.  The club is supervised by two members of staff, who can offer children help with their homework, but please note that this is not a tutoring session.

School Clubs (no charge)

Choir

Rehearsals are held for our popular school choirs at lunchtimes with Mr Ford throughout the school year.  The children are encouraged to expand their singing skills by trying different parts and taking on challenging arrangements, which builds confidence in their performing skills. 

Debating Club

This club is offered to children in Form 1 Lower - Upper set (Year 5) & Form 1 Upper (Year 6).  It is open on Tuesday lunchtimes throughout the school year. 

 

The children really enjoy taking on challenging matters for debate.  They are encouraged to form well thought out and structured arguments, both for and against the topic.

 

Activity Clubs (charges apply)

Art Club

The Art Club gives the participants the opportunity to explore their creative side and improve their artistic ability.

The sessions are run by Mrs Mutch and Mrs Prashad on Thursday afternoons from 4 to 5 pm.

This club is open to Form 1 Upper and Form 1 Lower (Upper Set)only and costs £25 per half term to cover the costs of materials used.

Chess Club

This club is offered to children from Transition (Year 1) and above but places are limited to 20.  It is open on Tuesday lunchtimes throughout the school year.  All sessions are run by an experienced chess coach from CCF (Coulsdon Chess Fellowship) who teaches the children patience, strategy and discipline.  

 

It costs £5.00 per child per session, which is payable on a termly basis, directly to the organisers.

Football Club

This club is offered to children in Transition (Year 1) and above.  It is open after school throughout the school year.  Our sports coaches from Pro-Direct run the sessions, which include fitness training, learning new ball skills and friendly matches.   

 

It costs £5.50 per child per session, which is payable on a termly basis, using the booking form issued each term.

 

Mondays 3.40pm – 4.40pm – Form 1 Lower -Form 1 Upper (Years 4-6)

Wednesdays 3.40pm – 4.40pm – Trans - Upper Prep(Years 1-3)

Sewing Club

This club is offered to children in Form 1 Lower - Upper set (Year 5) & Form 1 Upper (Year 6). 

 

It is open on Friday lunchtimes throughout the school year. 

 

It is a relatively new club run by Mrs Mutch but is proving very popular as the children get an opportunity to make things using new skills such as knitting and crocheting.


A nominal charge is made as a contribution towards the cost of materials, please contact the school office for details.

Tennis Club

This club is offered to children in Upper Prep (Year 3) and above.  It is open during lunchtimes throughout the school year at Reedham Park Tennis Club in Lodge Hill.  Cooper Tennis, a professional tennis coaching company, run the sessions which include ball skills, games and mini matches.   

 

It costs £4.00 per child per session, which is payable on a termly basis, using the booking form issued each term.
