About Us > Fees and Admissions
In keeping with our Founder’s strong belief that fees should not prevent any child receiving an excellent education, we continue to keep the fees as low as possible. This is only achieved by the extraordinary support of our parents helping out around the school and their Parents’ Association who raise thousands of pounds every year.
2017/18 School Fees
£2,220 per term
£2,160 per term
£2,100 per term
Pupil’s Personal Accident Insurance is included in the fees.
Parents are given as much advance notice as possible for any additional charges, which include but are not limited to the following:
· School trips
· Purchase of special equipment, e.g. geometry set
· Milk (optional)
· Activity clubs run by external staff, e.g. tennis coaching at Reedham Tennis Club (optional)
· Peripatetic music lessons (optional)
Fees are payable termly in advance no later than the first day of each term or monthly by Direct Debit. There are three terms per academic year.
A full term's notice, in writing, must be given if parents wish to withdraw their child from the school.
The school reserves the right to charge a full term's fees in lieu of notice.
In the event that the Headteacher and/or Trustees of the school require a child to leave the school without a term's notice, no claim will be considered for the return of fees paid.
When leaving the school at the end of Form 1 Upper (Year 6) the deposit paid is returned less any outstanding fees and charges due to the school.
We are delighted that you are considering Reedham Park for your child.
Reedham Park is a small independent kindergarten and preparatory school for boys and girls aged 4 to 11 years. Our school has a strong Christian ethos and we welcome children from families of other faiths who are sympathetic to our ethos and values.
In line with the Disability Discrimination Act of 1995 and the Equality Act of 2010, we do not discriminate in any way regarding entry.
The school makes provision for children with moderate special educational needs. Parents are invited to discuss any arrangements, including financial, that may need to be made if they wish the school to accommodate a child with more severe learning difficulties. In those cases where parents are willing to fund the extra support and possible training required, the school will take this into consideration when offering a place.
We welcome children with physical disabilities, provided that our site can accommodate them. However, we advise parents of children with special educational needs or physical disabilities to discuss their child’s requirements with the Headmistress to determine whether we can make adequate provision for them. We will discuss thoroughly with parents the adjustments that can reasonably be made.
Interview and Offers
All prospective parents are invited to see the school in action, attend an interview with the Headteacher to discuss the ethos of the school and consider whether Reedham Park is the right choice for their child.
If you wish to apply for a Kindergarten (Reception) place you should complete an application form and send it to us as soon as possible. If you are applying for a place in other year groups you can submit your application form at any time as these applications are considered separately.
Please refer to our admissions criteria when completing the application form. There are no formal entry tests for any children.
When you meet with the Headteacher, you are advised of a date when you hear whether your application has been successful or not.
If you are eligible but not offered a place in the first instance, your child’s name will automatically be placed on our waiting list.
Accepting an Offer
To accept the offer of a place, you should return the completed acceptance form together with a deposit of £500 no later than the date advised in the offer letter.
This constitutes a formal acceptance of your child’s place and the deposit is non-refundable if the place is not taken up.
