To increase progress and attainment of all pupils in English using a variety of techniques and resources, in particular, SPAG, reading, handwriting and presentation of work.

Establish a new leadership structure and clearly defined roles under the new charity status.

Review the effectiveness of teaching, in particular, the staffing structure, teaching across year groups and the impact of staffing levels on standards.

2020 - 2021

Key Priority 1 –

Review staffing and governing structure and shape the succession planning.

 

Key Priority 2 –

Review the impact of the previous year’s changes and implement further improvements.

2021 - 2022

Develop the future plans for the school.

Behaviour, Development, Welfare & Environment
2019 - 2020

Key Priority 1 –

Ongoing safeguarding (KCSIE) training for staff and governors and maintaining awareness and understanding for pupils and parents.

 

Key Priority 2 –

Review the incentive and rewards system regarding good behaviour and improve consistency of sanctions.

 

Key Priority 3 –

Strengthen the school’s partnership with parents, senior schools and the local community, in particular, updating home/school agreement, developing an understanding of expectations and collaboration with others.

Keeping up-to-date with KCSIE matters and communicating this to the whole school community.
